We read the building first
Species, notch style, hewing marks, moisture paths, which logs are sound and which only look it. Tim has stacked and unstacked enough log buildings to know what a wall is telling him — and what it will do next.
We match, we don't fake
Replacement logs are selected and hand-hewn to match the originals in species, dimension, and tooling — so the repair belongs to the building. New material is honest, but it isn't loud.

Rotted sill logs are the death of most historic cabins. We crib, lift, and level the structure, replace sills and corners, and set it back down on a sound foundation — documented at every stage.
